In March I connected with an incredible model named Mars.

I’ve been dreaming of a blacklight with reactive pain shoot for ages, and it was a joy to finally make it come to fruition. I see a lot of these sorts of images completely lacking texture, nuance, and shadow. They end up focusing only on the area with the paint rather than the entire background and rest of the subject.

I find that approach to blacklight photos to be gratuitous, if I’m being frank. It feels like a snapshot of a thought than an executed idea or concept.
